Description |
Lightweight, cotton shawl with a brown and beige plaid pattern. The entire perimeter is rimmed with fringe. The shawl has been altered with a 3 cm fold sewn across the entire width (possibly as a means to repair many worn holes and tears throughout the material). The shawl was found with a paper note handwritten in Ethel's writing and stating: "This old shawl called "Snuggie" by Baby Edith was bought for Uncle Montie first shawl used on him then on Edith's mama then last by baby Edith." This item was found in 2nd large drawer of Edith's tall dresser. |
