    Reproduction of ca. 1750 Japanese helmet. Prince Naozane fought Genji Prince from The Tale of Genji by Lady Muraoka. Kabuto Generals wore these in battle to show the general was there. These helmets were used from the 1600s to 1868.

    Miner's lunch pail (2 pieces, lid and container) 8 3/4" x 5" unknown type metal with mustard yellow colored paint worn away through the center of the exterior. The lid has a handle, container is empty.

    Autograph book owned by Thomas Matthews (1867-1938). Autographs are dated 1887, 1889, and 1895. Thomas Matthews was a day laborer at the Quicksilver Mining Company. Thomas Matthews' father (also Thomas Matthews) worked for the Quicksilver Mining Company as well. Book was given to Thomas' granddaughter Vera Narvaez in 1938. Pencil writings in autograph book were written by Vera around that time.
