Description |
(a) Ivory vinyl-covered cardboard cosmetic box with cloth lining. Vinyl has pebbled leathery texture; lining on top interior is pleated. (b) hair receiver jar & lid; (c) mini-jar & lid fits inside lid of "b;" (d) brush; (e) nail buffer; (f) large nail file; (g) small nail file; (h) button hook; (i and j) small cosmetic round jars & lids; (k) square Pyralin box holding glass bottle. b-k are Ivory Pyralin; c, i, and j had buttons or needles inside. f-h has Pyralin handles with metal tool parts. Box was found in Maybella Cottle's bedroom. Various paper items were found with box (a): Floral-printed envelope "To wish you every happiness on your birthday: WALTER COTTLE LESTER Edith Ethel Lester;"embroidery transfer pattern of cat and broom; card and envelope "Happy laughing cherub, with your eyes of blue, You make the whole world brighter, Just because of you;" envelope with green and gold interior. Box (a) will be packed with cards, envelopes, and embroidery pattern and will be stored on "PAPER" shelf. Rest of set will be stored on "PLASTICS" shelf. |
