About a dozen pages of letters and costs of the monument. The first is a 3 page letter from Friedolyn Kessler about getting more assistance and his costs to date. The second is a onepage letter to Verna Johnson and Rod MacDermott, leaders of the John Muir Chapter of CCC Alumni which details his out of pocket costs and shows appreciation for Dutch Mapes work.
