She notes that the play was intended to be performed at Happy Hollow (a large park in San Jose at 748 Story Road) since the performance begins with a parade, which would have been ideal for the amphitheater in the park). However, as 1976 was the first year of Tapestry of Talent, everything was downtown. This performance used the Montgomery Theater at 271 S. Market instead. |
