Manuscript written by Jimmie Schneider entitled "PILGRIMAGE INTO TOMORROW". He may have intended that this be included in his book "Quicksilver: The Complete History of the Santa Clara County's New Almaden Mine:. This manuscript was not included in the book. The principal subject of this story deals with flooding of the Randol Shaft at the 1400 ft. level. The flooding could never be corrected. At the end, the Cornish Pump failed. |
